Joe Burns
Lead Vocals & Guitar.
Joe started taking guitar lessons at the age of 9, but really found his love for music as a teenager in the 1990s. Since then he has played in a number of cover bands, as well as bands creating original music. Joe is currently working on an album of his own original tunes, and is excited to be playing covers again with the Grand River Band.
Steve Burns
Lead Guitar & Vocals
Steve has maintained an interest in music since picking up a guitar in his teens. Since that time he has played bass and guitar in various rock bands and acoustic duos. The opportunity to play with other like-minded musicians has been a welcome gift over the years. Always a fan of classic rock, he is now enjoying this music with the Grand River Band!
Doug Inglis
Drums & Backup Vocals
Doug started playing drums during the 70's disco era in Montreal. He played the Montreal circuit till the mid 80's and also in the clubs north of the city until moving to Ontario. Doug continued playing with various musicians and bands until discovering three other talented guys and formed the "Grand River Band"
Jim McEachern
Bass Guitar
Jim was born and raised in the Guelph area and still resides there today. He started playing guitar at the age of 15 after picking up his father’s Yamaha acoustic and asked him to teach him a few chords.
Since that time he was a cofounder and guitar player for the band Jacob who recorded a couple of original EPs. He has now joined on as the bass player for the Grand River Band to lay down the grooves and help them entertain the people of Southern Ontario.
